Stranger Than Fiction

Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World - Vicki Myron, Bret Witter Wow, for a relatively small book, it took me a relatively long time to read. I debated between two and three stars for a little while now and honestly, up until the last third of the book, I felt that this book was 2 stars.

I can't say Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World was a bad book, by all means it wasn't bad. It was, however, a touch boring for my tastes. The author goes on too much about small town Spencer, Iowa, about it's quaintness, about it's hard times. Each chapter starts off with a long flourished story about Spencer and ends with a 5 page story of how it relates to a small town library cat. As I've said, near the beginning, it was rather boring.

Either way, there are plenty of other books about Dewey and if you're a fan of Dewey, pick this up as well.
